Unstable Diffusion is the community-maintained branch of Stable Diffusion without the safety filters that restrict the mainline Hugging Face distribution. It produces both SFW and NSFW output depending on prompt, and it's the model most practitioners use when they want realistic artistic output that mainline Stable Diffusion refuses to generate — certain violence in historical art contexts, unfiltered body-positive photography references, horror imagery, and adult content on age-verified platforms.

This page runs Unstable Diffusion without local install, without needing a GPU, and without the weeks of ComfyUI configuration that using the model locally normally requires. First-time test generations run without signup. Longer sessions or higher-resolution output require a free account with age verification for NSFW outputs.
