Is Monica.im a trustworthy service?

I wanted to reach out and see if anyone here has experience with the Monica.im Chrome extension. Currently testing it during their 7-day trial period, and I have to say it appears to be a really useful productivity tool. However, since it's quite new, I'm a bit worried about possible privacy...
