To the right, "Sculpture Two" presents a paper folding screen with a wooden frame, reminiscent of a Japanese Nanban design yet devoid of ornamentation, partially unfolded. It acts as a canvas for a vibrant projection of a biblical figure in red attire, sunglasses perched against a backdrop of blue sky, confined to just the character's face. On the left, "Sculpture Three" showcases a diminutive puppet theater made from wood and Alentejo textiles. Inside, the small-scale "Bonecos de Santo Aleixo" puppets appear asleep within their snug confines. These sculptures, although intricate, are dwarfed by the vastness surrounding them, their presence highlighted only by the muted glow of the projection lights, casting a haunting yet intriguing ambiance across this immense, forgotten space.
