I feel the roof lifting away, exposing the chaos below. Destruction seeps through the crowd, as I witness the stars flicker and fade. I try to feign concern, but deep down, I know no one truly cares, and perhaps no one ever will. Can't you see it's all slipping through my fingers? Our clothes are frequently torn, our teeth clenched tightly. We endure as long as possible, but I can't embrace this reality. I refuse to acknowledge this tumult. I simply can't accept it at all.
