Its metal framework peeks through, and its barren shelves become the canvas for a black and white, 16mm film projection. The footage features a half-naked Portuguese girl donning a trendy urban hat, overlaying the sculpture's textured surface. To the right, "Sculpture Two" stands as a six-paneled paper and wooden folding screen, reminiscent of Japanese Nanban artistry. This screen, devoid of reliefs, hosts a vibrant color video depiction of a biblical figure clad in red, sporting sunglasses, with a serene blue sky as the backdrop. On the left, "Sculpture Three" presents a charmingly small puppet theater, crafted from wood and Alentejo textiles. Inside, the "Bonecos de Santo Aleixo" puppets appear dormant. The theater's scale is modest compared to the grander central and right sculptures. The ambient setting remains shadowy, highlighted only by the faint ceiling light and the glowing projections emanating from each sculpture.
